I'll be honest, I had my doubts about this working with "any" seatbelt, but it genuinely did. Throughout my trip, I hooked it up in an Audi, three different Chevys, a Kia, a Subaru, and a Hyundai. Who knew seatbelt clips were so universal? Personally, my dog behaves like a champ in the car Dstays put in the backseat and keeps pretty calm. But, you know, worries creep in. I'd be devastated if we got into a crash, and he got hurt or worse because he wasn't restrained. We wear seatbelts; why leave our dogs unsecured in the car? This gave me peace of mind, knowing he was tethered just like I was, just in case of a collision. He could still move around enough to get comfy in the back seat while staying securely locked in. The clasp connecting to his harness and the fabric are tough. Combine this with a sturdy, comfy harness, and your dog will be both safe and cozy in any car.
