This tower fan totally is great. I was room in this building with central air, and sometimes it was sweltering in my room during those weird in-between seasons. It's a bit bulky and kinda noisy, but let me tell you, it's a powerhouse. Crank it up to max and it could practically blow your bedsheets across the room.

I boughted two. And let me tell you, they're a massive upgrade! One's in the living room, the other in hubby's sunny office, and they're doing wonders. These fans are taller and wider than our old ones, so the air flow is much better. Honestly, we feel cooler with these fans than we ever did with the swamp cooler we bought a couple of years back. I've even caught myself shivering a few times sitting in front of them. Plus, having a remote is a nice touch - controls everything without getting off the couch.
