This is my second purchase of this salad spinner. The first one was for myself; I liked it so much I bought another for a friend. It's incredibly easy to wash lettuce in this, spin off most of the excess water, and end up with wonderful, fresh, crunchy lettuce! It's absolutely worth the little bit of effort. If I spin more than I need at the time, I put the rest, with half a paper towel, into a large Ziploc bag and refrigerate it. It stays fresh and crunchy for days, unlike grocery store bagged lettuce that wilts and gets slimy and brown the day after you open it. I love this salad spinner!

I never thought I needed one of these, but now that I have one, I really like it. It saves me from using too many paper towels to blot the lettuce leaves.

I got a bunch of romaine hearts, including the little ones. Waited for this fantastic gadget to arrive to prep my lettuce. After cutting and washing, I used this spinner to dry them before packing them into wide-mouth pint jars for vacuum sealing. Currently, I have 9 jars in the fridge, and there's still a big bowl to use right away. This spinner is going to see a lot of action.

This spinner has done its promised job well! It¨s half the cost of everything I¨ve found in places like Target, and it¨s relatively easy to clean. I love that it locks on the sides so that I can easily drain water before spinning, after giving herbs and veg a good vinegar-water soak. I would avoid allowing the inner part of the spinner (the basket) to sit through a heated dry cycle in the dishwasher. Mine warped a tiny bit and lost its perfectly round shape because the heat was too high, but it still fits and works inside the outer plastic casing.

This gadget gets the job done, and I'm grateful for that. My salads are always dry. Nobody wants a soggy salad while you're scrambling to cut up the rest of the ingredients because you forgot to do it earlier. It's a real time-saver!
